Cookies ‘N’ Cream Cheesecake Tacos

Cookies ‘N’ Cream Cheesecake Tacos

I realize that I just posted a cookies ‘n’ cream recipe. But, it is my blog. I do what I want. If you don’t like that, then get out of here.

I’m just kidding. I love you. But, to be honest, probably not as much as I love these tacos. Just try them, and you will understand. I promise that eventually, this blog will be full of variety. I have so many ideas that excite me and make me ready to open a can of culinary whoop-ass on this corner of the internet. For now, though…COOKIES ‘N’ CREAM CHEESECAKE TACOS!!! All aboard! Jump on the hype train. We are taking a ride to creamy, chocolaty heaven.

Recipe:

  • 1 batch of chocolate taco shells (see recipe on separate post)
  • 1 8 oz pkg of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 15 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • Desired toppings (chocolate syrup, whipped cream, chocolate sandwich cookies).

Instructions:

1. Soften the cream cheese just a little bit and add to a mixing bowl.

2. Add the half and half and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and beat until fluffy.

3. Slowly add the powdered sugar to the mixture until it has reached your desired sweetness.

4. Add the sandwich cookies and mix until well incorporated.

5. Spoon the cheesecake mixture into the chocolate taco shells. Top with your desired toppings.

6. I like to enjoy them immediately because I don’t have patience. You may also let them chill in the fridge to set up a little more before serving them.
