About

Hello and welcome to Eatzzeria! My name is Ashley. I am excited to share ideas with you.

Food is one of my love languages. Cooking is my creative and therapeutic outlet. There are few things in life more special to me than the times that I get to share a meal with someone else. This site provides me with another way to cook and share my food with others.

Here’s a little bit about me:

I started cooking when I was around 7 or 8 years old. Granted, the first thing I ever “cooked” was a box of macaroni and cheese, but we quickly moved on to the homemade stuff (with parental supervision, of course).

I am coming at you from my tiny kitchen in Logan, Utah. A few years ago, I graduated from Utah State University with a degree in English. After graduation, I wasn’t sure where to go, so I worked at a call center for awhile. After a year, I decided that the call center life was not for me, so I quit and started working full time as a substitute teacher. From there, I discovered a passion for working with children. I hope to have my own classroom someday after I finish my graduate degree.

When I am not eating, cooking, or researching random food facts, I can be found reading a good book, binging way too much tv, watching football or playing a Zelda game.

This is my Kitchen Assistant, Queen B. She specializes in being a drama queen and glowering at me from a distance because I won’t let her into the food preparation area.
